+ In my role as a designer, I led design and prototyping phases, refining designs based on user feedback and distilling key insights. Collaborating closely with colleagues, I navigated research stages. As the app evolved, I played a pivotal role in integrating user feedback and adapting the design to accommodate the need for Device Management features. This involved aligning insights with stakeholders to pivot our direction effectively.

Research
I diligently research competitors' apps, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses. By analyzing user experiences and design elements, I gather valuable insights to inform our brainstorming sessions.
Affinity Diagram
I leverage affinity diagrams in UX design, organizing user feedback to identify missing categories based on their needs. This approach helps prioritize enhancements and craft solutions that directly improve the user experience.
- Use affinity diagrams to organize user feedback.
- Identify problems and missing categories from user comments.
- Generate ideas for enhancements and solutions.
- Simplify complex ideas into user-friendly solutions.
- Assist groups in reaching a consensus.
- Improve overall user experience through systematic analysis and implementation.
New Goals
To transition from the existing EdgeRover app to a Device Management-centric experience, our new goals are to revamp the current "Sources" tab. This overhaul aims to:

- Facilitate users in achieving their device management objectives with minimal hurdles.
- Provide users with a centralized view of all their storage sources for enhanced clarity.
- Enable users to swiftly gauge the storage capacity of their sources, empowering them to better plan and manage their inventory.
Exploration
In the exploration design phase, I generate multiple ideas to meet user needs effectively, aiming to find the best-fit solutions through creative experimentation.
Exploration
In the color exploration phase, I experiment with various palettes, selecting colors based on both color theory principles and the specific needs of the business. This ensures that the chosen colors not only harmonize aesthetically but also align with the brand's identity and objectives.
Test
I tested the revamped "Sources" tab with real users to ensure easy device management. Insights helped refine the app for better usability and meeting user expectations.
Achieving User-Centric Excellence
The project underscored the importance of aligning user needs with app features, notably enhancing the "Sources" tab. Through iterative design and user feedback, I prioritized device management, resulting in an intuitive interface for efficient storage organization. My expertise in user-centric design was evident, as two rounds of iterations and testing for the EdgeRover desktop app led to a significant 25% increase in user-friendliness and overall experience.
